Welcome to Shoal Creek Baptist Church
Join us live stream!
I am happy to let you know we will be having a drive-in church service on Sunday morning at 10:00 am.
We will have chairs set up 6 feet apart for your safety. We will continue to have online services on our Facebook page as well as our website for those not able to attend.
We are planning to have a Business Meeting (Conference) as soon as we begin our inside services. Please click the box below to view the items that will be voted on at that meeting. If you have any questions, please contact one of our deacons.
We will also be collecting a Love Offering for Judy Smith from May 24th through June 7th.
You can write your check to
Shoal Creek Baptist Church and put "Smith Love Offering" on the memo line.
There is not a way to tag your donation if you give on our website, so if you want to donate from our website, please make sure to send an email to the church to let us know you want the donation to go to Judy Smith. We need to know the person giving and the amount given.
Hello Shoal Creek Baptist Church! Hope everyone is doing well. Please join us for our online services. Sunday at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm and on Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
I will be sending an email with birthdays, anniversaries, our current prayer list and any other information that needs to be shared to everyone that listed their email in our church directory.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call the church office at 706-865-1518, leave a message and someone will call you back.
Please pray for our church, our community and our nation.
We now have 2 different ways for all of you to be able to tithe and make a donation. You can choose between mailing a check via USPS to our post office box at:

SCBC is planning to soon be back for inside church services! Some of us have discussed possibilities for Sunday School classes to resume their meetings, as well, yet follow social distancing. This presents a problem since most of our classrooms are too small for us to be six feet apart.
I am asking teachers to discuss with their class members options to be considered. One class has already requested to use the Goodwill Circle building at 9 AM on Sundays for their meeting. They will clean and sanitize as they leave. Another class could meet there at 11 AM--after our regular worship service--cleaning and sanitizing as they leave.
It would be possible for a couple of classes to meet in the fellowship and activities building at 9 AM on Sundays and another couple of classes to meet there at 11 AM – – again, sanitizing and cleaning before leaving. (Using the sanctuary to meet for classes may not be best because of the difficulty of sanitizing.) Additionally, other classes could meet in any of these locations at other times/days/evenings.
Some classes are really small and could continue to meet in their regular classrooms. Some classes might be small enough to meet in the larger classrooms, such as Bill Brown's room or Chad Wingo's room.
Please consider options and let me know your choices. If two or more are requesting the same location and time to meet, priority will be given to the first making the request.
Let's all be patient with each other as we make efforts to get back to more normal schedules.
These are only suggestions. You may get creative and come up with other plans, but LET'S GET BACK TO SUNDAY SCHOOL!
God bless each of you.
